The drive motor system of the pit manure scraper can drive 1-4 manure scrapers, while conventionally, one drive motor system work with 2 scrappers is relatively widely used in the farm manure pits

The length of the manure pit usually not exceed 120 meters, and the width of the manure pit should be within 2 meters. Different farms have different widths and length of manure pits,. Therefore, the size of the manure scraper shall be fabricated according to the manure pit designing.

The size of the manure scraper is customized according to the width of the manure duct. There is no specific limitation. The width of the general manure scraper is less than two meters, but sometimes the width of some manure ducts will be more than two meters,then a scraper that is too wide will have higher requirements on the equipment.

There are two types of materials for the manure scraper, that is hot-dip galvanized scrapper, and stainless steel scrapper. In contrast, stainless steel manure scraper is more durable, not rusted, and corrosion-resistant, which is often used in pig farms, and hot-dip galvanized is usually used in chicken farms,or sheep farms.

There are two types of ropes for the manure scraper, one is soft nylon rope, the other is steel wire rope, soft nylon ropes are cheaper and usually used in the chicken farms;steel wire rope is widely used for wide and long manure passages, like pig farms or diary farms/
